Read a Dutch book out loud and watch the English arrive word by word, rewriting itself when the verb finally lands. Everything runs on this machine: no account, no network, no cost.

The mock replays eval/corpus/smoke.json on Phase 0’s measured timings — 227 ms per word, 1042 ms to the second pass — through the same pipeline the real engine feeds. It needs no microphone and no engine process.
